Get Connected

Fellowship break

Whether you are exploring faith, new to the area, or looking for a church home, you are welcome to come as you are. If you are wondering how to get connected, here is a simple pathway many people follow as they grow into the life and mission of our church. Additionally you can reach out to admin@anacostiariverchurch.org and we can help you take your next step.

  •  Begin with simply being present.

Join us for our Sunday worship services or take a look at our events page. There you will find upcoming events such as Thursday night bible study, men's fellowships, women's gatherings, youth events, and children's ministries.

The best way to get to know ARC is to spend time with our church family.

    Children's ministry
  • If ARC starts to feel like home, the next step is exploring membership and making ARC your church home.

Our New Member Orientation helps you learn about our beliefs, our mission, and what it means to be part of our church. Attending the class does not commit you to membership, it simply helps you decide if ARC is where God may be calling you to belong.

    Connect
  • Following and becoming like Jesus is something we pursue together.

Members at ARC grow as disciples through relationships such as one-on-one discipleships, men's triad groups (small groups of around three men), and small groups. These spaces help us learn from Scipture, pray together, and encourage one another as we grow to become more like Christ.

    Women's ministry
  • As we grow in Christ, we also join Him in His mission, working beside Him and one another.

Members of ARC serve in the church, love their neighbors on the block, and participate in gospel work around the globe. Together we want to make disciples of Jesus Christ wherever God has placed us.
